The Italian TWALCOM RAIDBOX is a super permanent add on to a R 1200 GS Adventure.

Capacity of 3.5litres, with a locking rear door, comes with two keys.Capacity of 3.5litres, with a locking rear door, comes with two keys.

It comfortably carries my 3-piece recovery straps and karabiners, jammer lappies, puncture kit, pouch with Hella-to-normal converters and the three device charging units, Rescusi-aid pouch, spare gloves.

Stuff I like to have with me but hope I will not need.

BUT   BUT   BUT

But be sure that you remove your wheel hugger when fitting it.

The vendor who sells you this will most likely mention this to you. But if not, be aware, when your suspension goes down on a bump, washaway or rut, the wheel hugger will hit the raidbox.

If you do not do something about this immediately, repeated strikes will destroy both the Raidbox and the wheel hugger.

Seen it, done it, bought the T-shirt.

Or from Atlantic

These are brilliant additions to the bike.

I use the jammer lappies to fill up space and so no rattling aorund. now my Topbox has 3.5 l cpapacity more free space and this is very usefull.

Hi Andy...

I presume that the BMW Aluminium side panniers will still fit?

Oh yes, the side panniers fit

Oh yes, the side panniers fit in just perfectly.

This innovative device, pnce the wheel hugger is removed, occupies what would otherwise be wasted space.

The wheel hugger is there to cmply with European road legislation, and is not something you really miss.

Note it also has brackets that bolt onto the transverse pannier bracket. This is a DIY job. Not a bike gear vendor item.
