Nederburg has made an exclusive offer to our club members: to come to the farm on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 to taste a just-launched collection of connoisseur wines, the Heritage Anthology. Why give us the chance to taste these gourmet wines even ahead of most wine enthusiasts? Well, one of the wines is called the Motorcycle Marvel. It’s a delicious blend of grape varieties you don’t hear about too often.

It’s also one of four wines created to honour some of the personalities who have shaped Nederburg and made it into South Africa’s most decorated winery with more trophies, prizes and medals than any other in this country. Like Platter’s South African Wine Guide Winery of the Year, the most successful SA producer at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, the producer of the top-scoring wine at the Five Nations Wine Challenge, and more.

The Anchorman

Along with the Motorcycle Marvel, come taste The Anchorman, The Brewmaster and the Young Airhawk. Cellarmaster Razvan Macici will talk about the wines that will be sold only from the farm, specialty wine shops and fine dining restaurants. These wines will not be available from your local supermarket.

The Brew Master 

After the tasting, Nederburg’s hearty complimentary Foundation Platters will be served to us, offering a bounty of fresh bread, cheeses, cured meats and other delectables.

The Young Airhawk 

We need to confirm with Nederburg by Friday, September 7 exactly how many members will be attending so they can cater accordingly.
