Dassiesfontein is a fully

Dassiesfontein is a fully licensed restaurant and traditional farmer's fare situated in the heart of the Overberg.

From humble beginnings 12 years ago, they sold homemade goods from two wagons next to the N2. In 1995 they built the farmstall and a year later the restaurant was added to become what is today a thriving business.

Dassiesfontein represents the spirit of true South African hospitality. The perfect place to rest your legs while enjoying traditional, homemade South African cuisine, and what better than a cold beer or a cup of hot coffee to make it just that more enjoyable.

In their shop you'll find a variety of products, produced right there in the Overberg. Visit their product pages and you'll be guaranteed to find something to your taste.

They are open 7 days a week, 8:30 to 17:30. All meals are served with their own farm butter and special homemade bread, baked daily in their wood ovens.

The menu: Full Farmhouse Breakfast including coffee & juice @ R60 per person ( tip included).

Location: The thatched roof on the N2 highway between Botrivier & Caledon.
