BMW Bike Fest Bookings now open
Bookings have just opened for the BMW Clubs Africa BMW Bike Fest 2012 – to take place 27 to 30 April 2012 – in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape.
The last two years this was held in Oudtshoorn, and was by far the best event Julie and I have attended.
All the information is available on the website – www.bmwbikefest.co.za – please book ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Perhaps I am being a bit dof as usual. I registered for the bike fest but I cannot find any indication on their website of where to pay the fees.
Can anyone help?
I'll email my bank details
Tony, I think that my Nigerian friends would also like those details. But for a small fee I will withhold that info from them. I will await your email and the fee.
Geoff,

They request that proof of payment be sent to Fax no. 086 682 8252.
Thanks Rene. I discovered that the problem was that I did not receive the confirmatory email which contained their banking details.
There are some nice accomodation options that involve cottages and sharing and swimming pools etc. Who else is keen on sharing? Otherwise, I am sommer going to share with complete strangers and get to know someone new. Who knows, they might even be Vaalies!
The weekend is going to be awesome - I cannot wait!
Julie and I are booked and paid. Going to stay with Julie's cousins at 'Antique Silk'. This is going to be superb. We will take a leasurely ride up to Plett on Thursday, overnight with Julie's parents in Plett. Then ride through to Grahamstown on Friday to register and check in.
On Monday morning we ride down to Plett again, and on Tuesday (1 May holiday) we ride back to Cape Town. It's a tough life.
