Screw to be removed Monday

I want I want but I cant. Yell

This ankle is keeping me away from what I want to do over weekends.  The screw will (finally) be removed Monday 9th. A short exercise period before I will be back on the gravel roads. I did do an all tar trip to Gansbaai with the two girls as a New year present and realised I will have to build confidence again.  Will stick to the beginners and ladies group for a while.

Dink bietjie aan my ook as julle so ry.

Another excellent day

Thank-you Andy and team for another fantastic day’s ride.  As always, perfectly planned and executed.

There was a bit of everything, tar, dirt, heat, dust, some interesting wind going up Sir Lowries’ Pass, useful tips for safe off-road riding, beautiful scenery, some fascinating history and an unexpected sprinkling of sand which caused a bit of consternation amongst us novices and had the more experienced shaking their heads wondering what all the fuss was about.

The lunch venue was perfect and provided us all with the opportunity to rest, swop stories of our morning’s experiences and get to know other members a bit better.  There were quite a few new club members, some of them on their first ever off-road ride.

Thank-you Andy, Pete and team for giving of your time and experience in order that we may learn in a safe, friendly and fun environment.  What an amazing club this is.  Wendy and I both had a great day.
