To Management re anticipating in the Mystery Run and Annual Run ( and a way forward ):
I can only speak for myself, but I assume some other riders may have a similar problem - my wife having other work-related committments cannot accompany me on either ride - I have paid my dues for the Mystery Run, and will soon do likewise for the Annual Run.
But, with whom do I share a accommodation, - can Management possibibly consider a modus operandi to accommodate this need as a measure for advance planning?
May I propose that Management consider this minor dilema i.e, a procedure be put in place where single riders can liaise and arrange accordingly?

I'm sure a trip report will
I'm sure a trip report will be coming out of the off-road riders. I know Charles thanked Geoff and Nolene for organizing the off-road part of the trip, but I want to thank him myself (because he is still my hero).
Geoff, thanks for organizing the off-road tour. I particularly liked:
* the ''Seweweekspoort'',
* the ramps on the road to ''Die Hel'',
* the view from the precipice of the ''Swartberg Pass'' (Charles is such a dolt!),
* the meerkats running in the road between us,
* riding next to you out of the dust (you really are my hero!),
* the pass through the fynbos on the way home, leading to ''Dwarsindiepad'',
* the buck that jumped over the road right in front of me (Charles gasped in amazement),
* the detour through the farms, and
* the spin over Du Toit's Kloof pass (thank heavens Max told Charles that cornering on tar requires leaning into the turn, and not ''dirt-riding-style'' staying on the outer footpeg).
Charles sounded well-satisfied with the lunch in Barrydale, judging by the sounds coming from his helmet and posterior :-o
kind regards

And so it all came to an end. What a wonderful weekend we had.
A special thanks to Dave and all the other people that assisted to organize this tour. It was incredible.
Also a special thanks to Johan and his wife who drove the backup vehicle. Without your help I would still have been on the road walking.
The RT came back in style. We had to camouflage it with some HD stickers.
If anybody needs to see how you lift a R1200RT from the tar by yourself and move it out of the road. I will start special classes.

Hi Cheezy, once inside
Hi Cheezy, once inside Oudtshoorn follow the directions towards the Cango Caves. Just before you exit Oudtshoorn Kleinplasie is on your left. Well, at least, that is how I was explained to get there.
I will check in here tomorrow to see if anybody has any better idea of how to get there. (before I also get lost) :)
