We are an officially-registered BMW Motorcycle Club. Our headquarters are in Cape Town and we represent riders and owners of BMW motorcycles in the Western Cape.
We have over 350 members, from 18 years of age to the eighties, riding single-cylinder 650cc offroad bikes to six-cylinder 1600cc road bikes.
Our club prides itself in promoting safe, responsible motorcycling. The Club Captains lead club rides with a focus on safety. Longer rides enjoy the backup of our club trailer and the presence of our trained paramedics to ensure a safe environment for all our members.
Club rides generally cater for riders of average ability, with some rides aimed at more capable riders, and others specifically for beginners.
One of the club's achievements is providing an environment for people to develop their skills and safety levels - many of our members only started riding a motorcycle after their children left home (call it midlife crisis - we don't care as long as we can ride).
Motorsport is inherently dangerous. As per paragraph 9 of the club constitution, the club shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or death of any member or guest, howsoever arising.
The BMW Motorcycle Club Cape cannot be held responsible or liable in any way for any actions or decisions you make as a result of the information posted on this site.
