2009 Baviaanskloof Rough and Ready Group pick on the top of the 4x4 route on a private farm.
Rony our leader was confused when he should be rough and when ready? The first night I must tell he slept in all his gear, boots and all as he worked and partied so hard he wanted to be first dressed and ready the following. The reason I loved the tour was because it was so informal. morning.

We did pretend that the East wind was blowing but in actual fact we had perfect biking weekend weather

Once we were up, we were up and then of course we had to do the little 4x4 road down.
Our richly deserved reward was an ice cold Black Label or more?

Many good friendships were made on this trip that should last many kilometers.
The support of a good bottle of Klippies to assist removing my front wheel after a side wall gash before we did the long way back home to Cape Town.

Due to the Truck drivers strike we were always mindful of fuel shortages but never had any problems with supply. Here is Gizzy and Conradie Generaal doing their petrol stint.
